Landings publish their own counts every day, usually the afternoon or evening after trips return. The cards above open each live source directly — what you see there is current.

Why doesn’t Spirit list the numbers here?

Counts go stale within hours. Linking you to the live source keeps the numbers accurate and gives the landings credit for their reporting.

Can I see past counts?

Most landings keep archives on their own sites — handy for spotting bite trends before you book.

When are counts usually updated?

Same-day, after the boats get back in — typically afternoon or evening. Morning trips often post by mid-afternoon.

Spirit Sportfishing is a fishing-trip concierge: customers tell us the trip they want, and we match them with the right boat and captain. We are growing our partner fleet across California — and we want boats and shops that take pride in putting people on fish.

How it works

1We send you customers — pre-qualified anglers looking for exactly the trips you run, in your home port.
2You run the trip — your boat, your crew, your call on the water. You set your own prices, trip types, and schedule.
3You pay a simple commission — only when a referred customer completes a trip. No upfront fees, no exclusivity.

Partner terms

5% commission on the trip price (before tax/tips), due within 14 days of a completed trip. No commission on cancelled or fully refunded trips.

You set your prices. We market your standard rates and never discount them without your written approval.

Non-exclusive. Keep your direct bookings and other partnerships — we are one more line in the water, not the only one.

Easy exit. Either side can end the partnership with 30 days' written notice. Commissions on trips already booked are still honored.

Licensed & insured. Partners hold all required licenses (including USCG where applicable), carry appropriate insurance, and operate in full compliance with the law. You are solely responsible for your vessel, crew, and passengers.

These are the headline terms. The formal referral agreement is a short, plain-English document — we will send it for your (and your lawyer's) review before anything is signed.
