Where can I see today’s fish counts?

Landings publish their own counts every day, usually the afternoon or evening after trips return. The cards above open each live source directly — what you see there is current.

Why doesn’t Spirit list the numbers here?

Counts go stale within hours. Linking you to the live source keeps the numbers accurate and gives the landings credit for their reporting.

Can I see past counts?

Most landings keep archives on their own sites — handy for spotting bite trends before you book.

When are counts usually updated?

Same-day, after the boats get back in — typically afternoon or evening. Morning trips often post by mid-afternoon.

Some moments deserve more than a restaurant table. A private sportfishing charter puts your celebration on the open ocean — sunset on the horizon, the boat all yours, and flowers waiting on board. Spirit handles the boat and the day; our partners at Flower District Direct handle the flowers and onboard floral setup, made to order from the LA Flower District.

Every celebration is custom-quoted — tell us the occasion, date, and party size and we will put together the boat, the timing, and the flowers. No fixed packages, no surprises.

Sunset Proposal Charter

Pop the question where the sky does the decorating. A private boat timed for golden hour, flowers on board, and a captain who knows exactly when to slow down and give you the moment. Tell us your plan — we will help you keep the surprise.

Anniversary on Board

Trade the crowded restaurant for a quiet evening on the water: a private charter, a floral table setup, and the coastline drifting past. Fish a little, cruise a lot, or just watch the sun go down together.

Birthday Party Boat

Birthdays are better with a rail to lean on. Bring your crew for a half-day of fishing and celebrating — music, food, and a birthday setup on board. Great for milestone birthdays that need a story.

Milestones & Gatherings

Retirements, graduations, family reunions, bachelor and bachelorette parties — if it matters, it belongs on the water. Private charters for groups of all sizes, with flowers and setup matched to the occasion.

How it works

1Tell us the occasion — the date, party size, and what you are dreaming up. Photos and ideas welcome.
2We custom-quote it — the right boat and captain for your group, plus made-to-order flowers and onboard setup from Flower District Direct.
3We run the day — the captain handles the water, the flowers are waiting when you board, and you take the credit.

Availability depends on the fleet and the season, so the earlier you ask, the more we can do — especially for weekend sunsets.
